Fic: In Keeping Secrets - Katie, Naomi/Emily

So, okay... this is  my first foray into something not Naomily. Well, it is Naomily a bit. But not really. And the parts of Naomily that are in it may not stay that way. The name of the fic is from a Coheed and Cambria album, as are the track names. And... well, I know that I'm certainly not the first person to come up with using an album for a fic

Ah, man. Thank you SO much! I have been fretting about this slightly, worrying that people wouldn't be up for it and just... your comment makes me feel a whole lot better about carrying on.

I was massively excited about Sivi's 'Under the Pink' and was hugely gutted that she wouldn't be able to carry on with it, but completely understand that she's had to let it go. I'm still pretty sad that there'll be no more from her :(

But, anyway. I love K/N pretty hard, and I'm glad that it came across that this is the way it's going to go. To me, there's something about Katie and Naomi that just makes sense. And Katie to me is just... YES. Thanks mainly to Sivi and Jen for writing her so brilliantly.

Thank you again for your comment - I feel more inspired to continue now. I would have anyway, just because this story is what I need to write, but now I know that at least you will be reading it makes it more worthwhile!

And thanks muchly for liking 'Revision Session' - I always felt a bit like Naomi was being a bit too nice, like it wasn't quite on the mark. Hoping that this story will be a little bit closer to it! I was surprised earlier to find that we weren't friends already - clearly an oversight on my part!

Aww no worries, I think now, most of fandom is up to try any pairing :) So I'm sure that people will totally get on-board with this.

To me, there's something about Katie and Naomi that just makes sense. - THIS. - Especially after Katie's world has been changed by the rock incident. To me, Naomi and Katie (now) will be more realistic about life, whereas Emily will always be innocently naive (and I'm not being mean about E at all, I actually find her naivety endearing).

You should totally post a link to this over at, skinsfans, skinsfic, SkinsFemslash and even naomi_x_emily - because if people miss this, I'll be gutted not just for you but for them!

[I'm terrible when it comes to friending, can't remember who I've added and who I haven't lol. Cleary an oversight on my part too for missing you out!]

I have posted at skinsfemslash but not the others... I wasn't sure if it would be ok to post it over at naomi_x_emily (I don't know how to turn them into links! I'm still rather useless as this!!) but I guess it is partly Naomily so it might be alright! Will do that and the other two now though.

I find Emily completely endearing, and that's going to be a big part of this story. We already know that Naomi loves Emily so how does Katie fit into all of this?

Katie and Naomi are both strong women yet have a hard time expressing themselves properly, something that I think Sivi's 'Either/Or' conveyed perfectly. In my opinion, that's what will always bring them together. Hopefully I'll be able to get this across in this story :)
