Katie is my girl. I can't believe what I've done to her in this! I need to sort her out soon, I think. Yeah, I think her reaction is best left to the imagination - we already know it's just going to be horrible and I don't think I can bear to hurt her anymore! But, LOL, I could never put her with Freddie. I didn't want it to be all neat and tidy like that, you know? Like 'oh it's okay that Naomi's gone off with Emily because Naomi has Freddie'. Things are rarely like that and, as much as I want Katie to be happy, I couldn't throw her at anyone else. I like to think that maybe Cook had an attempt at ~consoling her, though, until she laughed and told him to fuck off ;)
LOL, yeah - I wanted to smack Naoms a few times too. She's a right pain in the arse. I'm glad you loved the Cook friendship! Writing him is much fun, as is writing them together. And Gina! *sigh* I sometimes think I only write fanfic so I can work Gina into stuff... ;)
Yeah, Naomi always thinks she knows what's going on, which is why the entire Emily situation just throws her completely. And she never really gives people a chance - she puts them in their boxes so that when Emily throws her it blindsides her. Hopefully Emily will teach her to broaden her viewpoint on things a tad.
And Emily :) Well, she got there in the end, didn't she!
Yeah, S4 ruined my love for most things (except Katie, sombreros and paddling pools) so writing a bit of ~mysterious Eff is always fun. The show totally needed more Naomi/Effy! I might have ended up shipping them too...
