(no subject)
So, I figure that its time to update again.
Two days after my last post I got a job. I'm working in a cardiologist's office as what can only be described as a nurses assistant. I get to bring people back and ask them the required questions before the doctor gets to see them. I'm learning how to perform some of the tests and they are all about letting me try to draw blood (using them as practice first, of course). I'm just excited about getting some good experience.
Saturday Mere, Greg, Tiffany, Brandon and I headed to Memphis to see our friend Drew in his high school's production of Ragtime. It was SPECTACULAR! They had a turntable on their stage which made scene so much more efficient and also made for some interesting choreography.
Yesterday I went to Greggie's senior recital and then Drew came into town and we all hung out for a mere two hours before he had to leave again. It was SO good to see him though.
I have realized a couple of things this past week: always be grateful for your friends, they are truly some of the most amazing people you will ever meet; cherish every chance you get to meet new people because everyone can have an impact (if only a small one) on your life; working for 8 hrs a day is TIRING!
Also, I have made a list of books that I want to re-read/read this summer, but I shall post it later because I am ready to head off to bed!
