What is truth?

Well, we've seen a few waves of important news breaking on social media just in the last week. Most notably the Iran election, but there was also the Honduras coup. I wasn't even thinking as far as motivating social change. I was really only thinking about truth as a good in itself and how do we achieve that. There are also a lot of cases lately where the public is asked to swallow complex, new doctrines to solve various problems (health care, terrorism, global finance) and largely, we don't have anybody evaluating the truth of these schemes, only their political viability.

I don't think this sort of service is something for average everyday people. Pulling apart arguments with this level of detail is just not in the cards for mass action.

It's really more of a service for people who are sub-elite, who are literate and engaged but don't have the resources to say, fund their own think tank. IOW you and me. Business managers, informed citizenry, bloggers and journalists, institutions.

As for greenfield project that's flattering... I don't know, it's actually way more dubious than my other ideas. There's no economic model at all there. I think this would have to be a non-profit if it ever got off the ground. If you want to play around with it, with me, that might be cool though!
