So I come back into the Publishing lab from doing an interview for my documentary and see that the place is nearly deserted! I'm wondering to myself, "Geez! Do people not even care about school anymore, where is everyone?" Then I remember it's Valentine's Day and everyone's probably out acting all mushy mushy with their significant others! BaaaaahHUMBUG!!
So me and Cat just had our own hott Valentine's Day date...to Hillside mall getting food in the food court. I tell ya, when you're a romantic son of a bitch like I am, you just can't help but spoil the ladies...take 'em some place nice! Now we're back here at school. Doing work. I'm waiting on my next documentary interview while she's gettin' down and dirty with her radio doc and website.
The week's going by so fast! So much to do! I once wrote a story about a room that scientists have invented that stops time when you step into it (this is probably one of the nerdiest things I've told you guys). And so whenever people needed a break from time, they'd just step into the room, get whatever the needed to get done, relax a little bit and when they step out, it would be the exact time it was when they stepped in. That would be nice right about now. Also, think about it...there would never be a line up because people would just be in and out. Anyway, I digress and I'm trying to waste time until my interviewee gets here but it's not working because I still have a long time to wait!
Also, I can't wait until Monday as I will be going to Vancouver to check out
Russell Peters and then interview him for my documentary. His act is seriously one of the funniest acts I have seen in a while. I'm going with the asian poss probably around noon on Monday and then we'll hang out in downtown Van before the show and then go to the show at 7PM. Afterwards, I have to meet with Russell and then do the interview with him. It should be awesome! Anyway, I've wasted enough time. Talked on the phone three times since starting this post and now my interviewee should be here in 15mins. Happy Valentine's Day!
