So I watched Farenheit 9/11 and let me say, it just completely pissed me off. Blah blah blah Micheal Moore is a fat slob who lies about everything. Well he's a fat slob who makes alot of good points. Blah blah blah he lied about half of the stuff. Well I think it was pretty straight foward about the woman whos son was killed in Iraq. It just kept making me think about how it could have just as easily been my brother over there who got killed. And for what? We aren't at war with terror, we're at war with the random man in Iraq who simply doesn't want troops in the country. If it we're and American and Iraqis we're invading our country, he'd be considered a patriot. No, not to Bush. He's an article of terror. It just pisses me off so bad. It was pretty straight foward when not one member of Congress when asked if they would get their children to enlist and go fight for the cause that they have been gloating about for ages, not one of them would. I think it says alot when the people in office can't even be counted on to be patriots to their own beliefs. If freedom is their cause, then why won't they send their own flesh and blood to fight for that cause? We are not at war with terror, we aren't at war to protect our freedoms. We are occupying a country that had no intent on challenging our freedoms. If I was 18, theres no way I could re-elect a man whom tells us we're going to war to fight to keep our freedom, when there was no threat to it in the first place. Al quida was a threat to our freedom. Are the Al Quida the ones who are killing our troops in Iraq? I don't think so. I do believe military action is required to act against THOSE WHO ATTACK OUR FREEDOM. Not one of the highjackers on 9/11 was Iraqi. Yet Iraq is an imenint threat to the United States of America. So I guess we're at war so a fucking cowboy and a bunch of his buddies can make some money from the oil. It just gets under my skin to no end. Sorry for ranting but I just have to get it off my chest after seeing that. Propaganda or not, some of it you can't argue.
