Summary: How about I get back to you on that?

It was a whisper in the wind, a beckoning at his ears, and a tug at his heart. Considering he even had one anymore, that is.

The Music whirred continuously in his ears, even before he regained consciousness. His limbs ached, his mind throbbed, and there was a distinct iciness in his veins. With a slight stumble, he forced himself up onto his feet, away from the cold pavement. Blearily, violet eyes opened and beheld the quaint and familiar Room of Reckoning.

Needless to say, things hadn't changed much. As stifling as ever, and just as bland and dark. There could have been a sigh of relief escaping from his lips, but that really was still out to jury. However, what was obvious was the way his brows furrowed and lips cured. Something was disturbingly wrong. The Music was off tempo, the Chords were clashing, the Notes far too fast, almost like a staccato of a hummingbird and-- And this wasn't right.

"Strange..." His tongue clicked accordingly in his mouth as his hands shuffled into his pockets. There was a thin film of--god forbid--sweat on his pale skin, but he tried not to pay it too much heed. More pressing matters were rearing their ugly heads. "And here I thought I'd catch a break~"

His giggle died off as his gaze surveyed the all too familiar room. It certainly wasn't that blasted Tin Pin Universe, nor his own so -- which Plane was it? And how long would it take Sanae to figure out he was gone. Or would he ever, considering the time he had spent away as it was.

How ... fretting. "My, my, what a conundrum..." The usual lilt was replaced by a quiet, uncertain, humorless murmur.
