Obama's Inauguration Followed in the Footsteps of Jurassic Park
Yes yes we all know that Obama is now president. That's great & all but what I really find interesting is events leading up to his presidency. First of all I started watching tv around 11:15am & was delighted to see an interview with Steven Spielberg who was attending the inauguration. Then right before the president stumbled through his vows they played a lovely piece by John Williams the famous composer of many great pieces including scores from Jurassic Park. He also worked on a piece for the election night as well. So everyone reading my silly post now sees that even though more than a decade has past since Jurassic Park came to theaters & even longer since the late Michael Crichton released his novels that elements of Jurassic Park are still an important part of America.
Sorry for the picture....I had too. So much talk of Jesus from speeches and the infusion of dinosaurs it just seemed to fit, heh.
