Ok so I'm wondering
what you guys think about this.
In my advanced composition class I have to write a research paper on blogging which is practically unheard of since it is a form of media that is still evolving.
I wish... and for that mattter I might copy and paste some of their blogs on here. It seems to me that for the most part they blog in a way that is totally abstract and really in know what I have come to know as blogging.
This is the art where I want to know what you guys think:
I think that "academic" blogging will share some rules and conventions with blogging on the whole (in terms of speed of communication and norms within the blogging environment) but I think that it actually loses its effectiveness a medium of expression when you place it in an academic context because for some reason everyone feels the need to blog with this hyper academic position and attempt to force some sort of stimulating, thought provoking, conversation... or air their complaints about poor grammar... the pretention is overwhelming. What do you think the case is?
