Back in the trenches
Well, I am back at school again. I knew I would before the year was out. This time its for a person whose husband is being treated for really bad injuries after a car accident while on vacation. How much does that suck to be on vacation and get into a life threatening accident? Anyway, I am teaching Freshman Science. I have 5 classes that are the same class.
Its going well. I really love the kids so far. They are preaty mellow for freshman I mean. Although I am reminded of why I left in the first place. The politics of education suck. They get in the way of techers just working with the kids. Administrators flilp out for nothing and we are getting exhausted for nothing. In fact it is reallly discouraging me from teaching. I don't think I want to do it anymore. This gig may be my last act as a teacher for a while. I have to find something new and rewording for me instead of being their bitch and not being appreciated for it. I should have a job at that school, but the politics are rediculous. I cant imagine other schools being any better.
The sad part is that I need the money and thats the only reason I am back in that school.
