Wow...
So I've been slightly non-exsistant for a couple months... oops. For those of you that know, and those that don't I guess, Cedar Point is an absolute blast. I am having so much fun here and I highly recommend it for anyone who is sick of sitting on their bum all summer long. Ya, they work you like dogs, but as long as you have a social life and make your job as fun as possible you'll be fine. I think I have the best crew and some some of the greatest friends in the park. I could talk for hours about all the things I've experienced and people I've encountered. For instance.... random celebreties roam the park. It's kinda cool, we're not supposed to talk to them though. I don't care what department you work in, I always say the same thing... your job is as fun as you make it. Of course rides are the absolute best... duh.
The only problem with CP is the drama... people get fired over stupid things.... people fight over stupid things, lol... people cry over stupid things. My roommate is crying right now because this guy dumped her. Quite frankly I don't blame him, they hadn't been dating all that long. She's just an over protective, crazy, juvenile girl. I asked him what he ever saw in her and he said "I don't know. I need out!" I'm sick of all this highschool crap. He's been in our room for a couple hours now and he's spent most of that time talking to me, not her. They have absolutely nothing in common and she knows it. That's part of the problem too... she sees how much we have in common and keeps thinking that he's going to leave her for me. Well.... that's not exactly what happened... but all she does is complain about how perfect we are together. No one like complainers.... typical highschool stuff. whatever
Other than that, I love it here. I guess you're going to run into this type of drama any where you go. CP is still an absolute blast. Make tons of friends... go out every now and then... live a little, and you'll be fine. You can't just be here for the money, you'll never survive. It's the experience that makes people come back.
I almost can't wait to get back to MSU. I miss the quiet, laziness of the dorms and lifestyle there. And I miss Qdoba!! I think I'm dying without my chicken mole..... mmmmm.....
I need to go to bed... I actually don't have to work tomorrow though, so that's nice. I'm ill, so I was forced to take the day off... I didn't want it. Now I can't go in the park cuz I'm supposed to "stay home and recuperate". Whatever.
Oh... I have dial up in my room now. No more going to the rec center to use my allotted 20 minutes on the extremely public computers to pay bills. Thank the Lord God Almighty for laptops!!!................... I need to go to church............. that's another story. Tomorrow, I'll have nothing better to do.
