but I have a TAN! It's amazing! Yes, most of it came from a painful sunburn, but that is now gone and I have some awesome tan lines. Sweeeet. I love my job... for the most part. Most of the kids are great, and the girls are really starting to try to play the games with the guys. I have shown them that girls can be just as aggressive in hockey as any boy could ever be. I have also shown them why I shouldn't really play soccer with guys. I finally got the ball for once in yesterday's game, and what did I do? I kicked it right into a 10-year-old boy's crotch. He dropped to the ground. Awesome. See Beck? It isn't just you! I do it to lots of guys. I have the worst luck with my aim... Some of the people in my teen group don't want to do ANYTHING, but screw them. They won't ruin the rest of the kids' summers. The trips and adventures start up next week (trip to Funtown on Tuesday! Woooo!) so it'll get more exciting. I have a carwash in an hour and a half too. Not so much wooing for that.
The rest of my summer has been pretty laid back. Beck's schedule works against mine, so whenever I get out of work, he has to go in. This leaves zero time for any communication of any kind. I call his voicemail, but he only gets it if he remembers to turn on his cell. The days he has off are going to be golden, even though a play is taking part of them away. My opinion of the theatre is lessening by the weekend. I did get to meet Beck's brother's girlfriend though, and she seemed really nice. Quiet and a little giggly, but very nice. I think she can harass Kyle like he should be. I'm sure it wasn't completely comfortable for her to come from another state to stay with a brand new family, but from what I saw, she handled it pretty well. Now if we could only get her to talk more...
Alright, this is a desparate plea for anyone out there who wants to hang out: PLEASE CALL ME!!! I'm bored and I spend nights at home with my parents. Let's go golfing or to the movies or something! Come on guys! And Megan Doane, the next time you are up in Maine, you had better call me instead of just Carolyn!
