Quinn had been told oysters were an aphrodisiac. She didn't know the science behind it, but whatever--anything to turn Rachel on. The two had been dating for two months now and still hadn't gone farther than feeling each other up and frankly Quinn was tired of it. She loved Rachel and didn't want to pressure her, but hey, if anything happened she could blame it on the food! In Quinn's mind, nothing could be sexier than the girls feeding each other.

Quinn could think of about a million things sexier than getting food poisoning. About an hour into the romantic dinner, Quinn's stomach started turning, practically literally. Quinn started to sweat and feel dizzy. When Rachel went to feel her forehead, the blonde shuddered and pushed herself back, suddenly desperate to NOT be touched. After a few seconds of confused silence, Quinn jumped up and sprinted towards the bathroom. Rachel was puzzled at where the blonde was going until she heard the BLEEEEH! come from the bathroom. Suddenly the smaller girl's eyes went wide as she realized the love of her life was vomitting.

When Rachel stepped into the bathroom, Quinn was hovering over the toilet groaning, looking a sickly green, her hair sticking to her face with sweat. Rachel felt deep sadness in the pit of her stomach of seeing the girl in this state. She slowly walked over to the blonde, whose eyes were weakly closed, and gently reached out. Rachel gingerly scooped up the blonde lockes and pulled them delicately into a loose ponytail to keep her hair clean. Quinn, who was swaying with queeziness, mumbled a barely audible "thank you" before throwing her head back to the toilet. Rachel winced and rubbed her back soothingly, kissing her shoulder gently and whispering "It's ok baby, just get it out of your system, you're doing great Q," into her back. Quinn whimpered, tears streaming down her face with agony. If Quinn was going to be in this awful situation, she would at least be able to see the silver lining; Rachel must have been Florence Nightingale in a past life because the small brunette was the most loving, helpful person Quinn knew.

Rachel looked over to the bathtub beside her and spotted a green washcloth hanging on a peg. Rachel grabbed it, ran it under cool water and wrung the cloth out, before folding it into a neat rectangle and rubbing the back of Quinn's warm neck. Quinn groaned but Rachel could see it was a grateful groan. Quinn curled over the toilet again, continuing to lose her dinner (and what felt like every meal she had eaten over the past week). The blonde was crying heavily while Rachel rubbed her back softly, running the cool cloth on the paler girls face.

After Quinn seemed to reach a lul, Rachel sprung up and grabbed a glass of water from the kitchen, quickly threw a straw in it, and went to the cupboard to pull out a small baggy of crackers. She swiftly made her way back to the bathroom, to find Quinn resting her head on her arms which were still clutching the toilet, eyes closed tightly. Rachel sighed, placing the objects she had fetched on the floor, and pulled out a cracker.

"Quinny, baby, here please eat this. It'll make you feel all better. I promise ok?" She whispered positively, holding the cracker up to pale lips. Quinn barely opened her eyes before clamping them shut again and curling her lips inwards. "N-no, no f-f-food Rach, p-please nothin...." Quinn groaned weakly. Rachel was near tears at the sight of this disheveled heap of a girl before her. "Quinny, you need to. I swear to you, it'll make you better. It'll absorb some of the acid, and you'll perk up!" she pleaded, poking Quinn's lips lighting with the cracker. There was a pause, ending with Quinn weakly opening her mouth and Rachel placing the food inside.

"Great job baby, you're doing so good," Rachel said enthusiasticallly as Quinn softly moved her jaw to chew, her eyes still closed. She groaned and swung her head back to the toilet bowl, but nothing came out. Rachel reached behind her and put the straw to Quinn's lips. "Drink this Q, water will be good ok?" Rachel cooed, poking the straw between Quinn's lips. The girl sucked feebly, managing a sip before pushing the straw out. "Nomore, nomore, nomore Rach" Quinn whimpered, tears gently falling down her face. Rachel nodded and gently patted the blonde's hair.

"Alright baby, little time out, you're being such a trooper Q," Rachel whispered. She got up and re-wetted the washcloth, repeating the process of wringing it out and mopping up the sweat that was seeping out of the blonde's pores. Quinn whined as her stomach gurgled loudly. After a few minutes of silence and Rachel patting Quinn down, Rachel reached for the crackers again.

"Quinny, I need you to eat another cracker alright?"

Quinn moved her head from side to side tiredly, keeping her mouth pinned shut.

"Please baby, eat this for me ok? It's a favor to me, I'll owe you one yea?" Rachel pleaded. She needed the girl to eat bland things, it was the only thing she could think of to make the sick girl feel better. Quinn reluctantly opened her mouth and Rachel smiled, feeding the girl the cracker. Suddenly she noticed the medicine cabinete. As Quinn attempted to chew, Rachel explored, hoping to find something of use. There, in a plastic container, were multicolored antacids. Rachel sighed a sigh of relief and pulled out two. She closed the cabinet and sat back down with the blonde, who seemed to be in somewhat better shape since she hadn't puked in about 10 minues.

Rachel held out the antacids with one hand and rubbed Quinn's calf with the other. Quinn half-way opened her eyes, looking out at the wonderful girl before her. She saw what the brunette was holding out and shook her head, closing her eyes again. If there was one thing on this earth Quinn hated, it was Tums. They were esentially chalk that was trying to taste like fruit but failed oh so miserably. Quinn shuddered violently at the thought.

Rachel couldn't stand to see her girlfriend in this state. "Please baby, please! Just this last thing ok? All better ok?" Rachel pleaded. Quinn needed to eat the Tums and go to bed, hopefully she would wake up feeling better. Quinn just groaned meekly, finally cracking her mouth open slightly as Rachel sighed with relief and placed the two tablets inside. Quinn shuddered as she chewed but finally swallowed and mumbled "water", which Rachel had at the ready.

After a few more minutes of Quinn suddenly turning her head to throw up a bit, she finally stopped and rested, groaning barely audible nonsense sentences. Rachel helped the girl up and helped her brush her teeth, keeping her tan arm wrapped around the pale, shaking figure to support her. Rachel finally helped Quinn to bed and tucked her in, putting the TV on low like Quinn liked. The blonde fell asleep almost instantly. Rachel took the time to clean up the crackers and the bathroom, and finally perched herself on the rocking chair beside the bed, making sure the trash bin was nearby in case Quinn needed to throw up again at some point in the night.

Quinn woke up with a big yawn and turned to the clock on the right side of her bed, which read 6:46am. Quinn turned around to see Rachel asleep in the rocking chair, curled in a ball, holding the teddy bear that normally occupied the chair. Quinn smiled. Last night had been awful but she felt much better now. All she really had needed was sleep after getting everything out of her system. She reached for the remote to turn off the TV and curled up with her pillow, thinking about how great Rachel had been. The small girl had stayed with her all night, took care of her when she could barely moved and made sure she was ok throughout the night.

Suddenly the taller girl rolled out of bed and gently rocked her girlfriend awake. Rachel awoke with a start and suddenly was washed over with fear. "Quinn, are you ok? Did you throw up again?! Do you need to go to the hospital?!" Rachel questioned nervously. Quinn chuckled quietly. "No no, nothing like that. I'm feeling much better Rach, you were amazing. I just wanted to know if you wanted to get into bed, maybe cuddle?" Quinn replied hopefully. Rachel smiled, relieved, and nodded cheefully.

Both girls climbed into bed and Quinn wrapped her arms around the brunette. "You really are amazing, you know that? You care so much about me, I don't know what I did to deserve someone like you baby," Quinn whispered, kissing her girlfriends temple slowly. Rachel beamed, "I love you so much Q, I'd do anything for you." Both girls smiled and snuggled tighter, letting themselves fall back asleep for a few hours after the hectic misadventures of the night before.
