Wheeee!!!! Car troubles and other matters...
Went down to Irvine this weekend to attend my cousing Jackie's graduation. Burnt my clutch on friday after 6 hours of hard driving... fortunately it was only the clutch and not the whole transmission and they were able to replace it before coming back up here... oh and that shaking in my car whenever I slow down? Yeah, I was missing a bearing in my front right axle... the guy let me just pay for the part cuz labor was already done when fixing the clutch. The ride there was rough and I missed Kris's performance at Coffee Bean in Long Beach... almost made it too, but I broke down in Burbank. The rid back up though was fast. The weekend itself just kinda flew by. The graduation was just that, a bunch of pomp and circumstance, a great celebration for those who graduated, but a bit boring when you've been through it already. I'm happy for Jackie though. We had the graduation reception at Dave and Buster's and me and my dad each found a game with a ridiculous payout/swipe ratio. Normally to amass 5000 points worth of useless paper tickets you're looking to spend about $100, we did that in about $30. I was able to get a really nice poker chip set and a nice box for it. Now I just need to convince people to play poker instead of D&D all the time...
