emily sent me an email and said somewhere in it that emails were much faster than text messages. this was my response to that statement:
[technically, however, texting is much faster. text messaging from a cellular device to another cellular telephone, for example, will relay the message in a matter of minutes-if not mere seconds. taking into consideration, of course, that the reciever of the message will be carrying the transmitor on themselves. electronic mail in comparison is just as fast. but taking into consideration that most recievers do not carry their desktops, pcs, and laptops in a position as to which they would be able to answer or respond to the electronic mail - text messages are faster.]
i decided to write th eemail like I was a 43 year old divorced husband who recently went through a mid life crisis which involved partaking in the drinking of purple koolaid as iniation into a up and coming chicago cult who's member base consists of balding 43 year old bank employees who can't keep it up for their hunnies anymore and find themselves inching closer and closer to homosexual tendencies and wet dreams involving that cute blonde who fixes the copy machines at work in a too tight pair of khakis that would make any cult member drop to their knees and unzip that younger patron and look up into the green eyes of a younger guy who stares down into the heart of a chicago native who would do anything to stand up and say he was queer.
HAHA! I can't believe I just wrote that. so apparently I was channeling a 43 year old gay man. go me. well I'm good.
