I love writing letters. I enjoy writing more when it's to one person, when I know that one person will read what I have to say and be affected by it.
That's why I miss Becka so much. I've written so many letters to her, and she's really the only person that I feel completely comfortable writing to. Other friends I feel completely comfortable telling them everything, and with her I don't feel that way but when I write to her - it puts me at ease. It comforts me, I guess.
This summer I plan to write letters. To all my friends at camp, or down the block and around the corner, or to the ones packing up their bedrooms and heading somewhere northern - I'm writing a letter to everyone. To say nothing important really, just to say something in writing to another person. To let them set the pace of the sentence and pause to breathe whenever they want to.
Letters rule.
