more like a to do list
Mr. Dragoo could ask anything of me and I would do it just to "help the department." It's disgusting.
I was supposed to have rehearsal Saturday for Bad Habits, low and behold I suck ass at organizing anything and people had work and carnivals and SAT prep stuff. The only person who showed up in the beginning didn't even need to be there, then Michael and Will showed up and they aren't even in any scenes together... Directing, or everything leading up to it, sucks.
Ended up helping Monzono and Dragoo (and two kids I don't know) set lights for Crime and Punishment. The two kids leave and Dragoo, Monzono, and I are talking about stuff etc etc. Monzono needs a sound techie... well shit I'm standing right there, "Well, I'll do it." Fudge. As we're walking out of the door, "You're one of the few people I can always depend on in this department, Kiara." "Thanks Dragoo." "That's a really big compliment." "Thanks..."
Okay dry tech sunday. Okay dress rehearsal monday night. Okay we open Tuesday. Okay show closes thursday.
Fudge again. I just said I could do something that I can't do. And now, because I love theater way too damn much, I might have to bail on someone. Hopefully not though. Tomorrow morning I'm going to go talk to Dragoo and see if I can still do the show but leave early or something on Monday. *crosses fingers*
Oh another fight this weekend. Yay for rollercoaster friendships. Talked to a person who I realized later was an old friend and it turned out better than expected. Want to be finished with blocking by friday and do the first run-through on saturday. Might not be possible though because of C&P. And doing three things for the Variety Show. Don't know what monologue I'm doing, need to organize the ten minute play. BUT I MIGHT GET TO BE THE DIRECTOR OF RED DRAGON CAMP WHICH IS SO AWESOME. I'd be like the overseer or something and make sure everything was running smoothly in both the middleschool and elementary sections. so cool.
