Fuck the media (apart from the ABC).
I've probably said it before, but I will say it again:
Fuck I hate "mx"!!!
Australia has the potential to rewrite the way Australian politics is run & all you see on the cover of the suspiciously free newspaper is "results" indicating that the Liberal co-alition had more votes (there's different ways to measure that & more importantly, they haven't finished being counted)! And more recently, trying to spread fear by big heading saying "united we stand" implying "divided we fall" when in fact Australia could be at a turning point for the House of Representatives to improve for te better. Also, the commercial media gives the impression that we currently don't have a government & some even suggesting breaking the law since it isn't in effect. But it is still in effect (besides most law related stuff is state orientated). Julia Gillard is still the current prime minister and the Labor government continues to "run the country" until a decision is made. Sure, they have a slightly different line up now, but all the major roles are still being filled by the same big players as before. PS: this post was mostly typed up yesterday.
