SOUNDWAVE: Eastern Creek...
So, Soundwave is to be at Eastern Creek Raceway, site of NIN's first blitzkrieg into Sydney at Alternative Nation... the only Sydney NIN show I haven't been to.
Who's going to Soundwave?
Here's my plan:
Bus to Station. Then train to Blacktown and shuttlebus to Eastern Creek. Unless someone gives me a lift. One of my friends is driving, so it may be possible.
11:00AM gates = hopefully arrive early in the day.
Check out venue and some of the bands playing. Time distance to walk from stage to stage.
2:20PM-3:00PM stage six = maybe see Jaguar Love. (Since they're apparently good enough to be supporting NIN at the Hordern on Tues.)
(will try to get into pit fairly early, 4PM, which should also give me an idea of where I can be and in how much time from Alice in Chains at stage two and NIN)
4:40PM-5:20PM stage one = The Dillinger Escape Plan
5:21PM-6:14PM = somewhere recovering. Possibly eat food for dinner. Maybe even check out The Bloodhound Gang on stage two, just out of curiosity.
6:15PM-6:50PM stage four = Lacuna Coil Don't know their songs, but the singer is a hot Italiana chica and they seem worth checking out.
6:51-7:09PM = Make my way from stage four to stage two.
7:10PM-8:10PM stage two = Alice in Chains (I miss Layne, but the songs ROCK!!)
8:11PM-8:19PM = hurry like FUCK to get from stage two to stage one!
8:20PM-10:00PM stage one = Nine Inch Nails (YES!!)
10:00PM-? = buy some new clothes from merch' stand as what I'll be wearing will probably be completely doused in mud, sweat and rain. Possibly other bodily fluid (blood) and/or food.
Then getting home so I can have a decent sleep before getting up around 7AM or earlier for a full day at work on Monday.
