In life news, I spent $400 finally making my room feel like home. Spent two days cleaning it and setting up my bed, curtains, and computer chair. Still have my bed table and drawers to set up tomorrow. But god, it feels good. I finally feel like I'm not just paying to live in someone's apartment; it feels like home now. I bought a bed frame and drawers to go beneath it, bed sheets and pillow cases, curtains for the windows instead of blinds, a nice little classy lamp, a computer chair, a bed table, a hamper, coat hangers, a towel, and a mini papasan chair. The only things I still have that aren't mine are this old mattress that nobody would want, and a fan that my dad gave me (so it's kinda mine, but I didn't pay for it). I need to buy a new retention rod for one of the windows though, cuz one keeps falling off under the weight of the curtain.
It looks so beautiful, though. I didn't know what I was missing.
