My brother's birthday is today. He got a job just a week ago, and requested today off, but they wouldn't give it to him. Which was crap because we've been planning tonight as the night all our friends would get together. Those plans subsequently fell through, but my best friend still came out. So at midnight we all went out to his workplace (Taco Bell), and delivered him a cake through the drive thru window.

I wish he could be here, but at least he knows we thought about him. It makes it feel more like Christmas.
