good things come from boring banquets
banquet tonight was all right. all nerdy and science-y. but twas fun. well, i won't lie - it was really awkward bc i only know a handful of ppl. BUT the men's octet came to sing and i have fallen in love AGAIN for the octet. i heart them. and i swear one of them is the twin or brother to this guy i had a thing for freshmen yr. same blonde hair, same dorky vibe, same stance and same (strong) political beliefs. a little creepy...and a little nostalgic now.
and then of course there's the meeting of an awesome guy who can sing and is from new zealand and has a very subtle and cute accent. and who seems like we could be close friends. (that or he totally digs me...just kidding. honestly. more like...the other way around.)
