Love to
violentfires for being a fantastic beta, and to
clarinetkate and
lookingatstars for letting me whine at them and being encouraging. ♥
Imagining the future is a kind of nostalgia.
(
Louis wakes to the tinnitus buzz of the engine. )
i mean, this idea, that the whole universe fights for them when they can't do this, when it helps, because they can't find a way out of all the mess, when it gives them all the chances they need, because they're meant to be together and it can't be otherwise - this thing gives me so many feels, because it's what i believe in and always will and /oh god/
idk how to explain properly, but this fear that louis felt when he realised that harry is a huge part of his life and he's losing him because of louis himself being confused and too afraid of admitting his feelings to harry, well, it actually causes this dull pain in my chest, because i don't even want to imagine what their lives could be without each other, and the feeling that something is wrong, something is missing is a scary fucking thing, like, you can't even understand what is happening anymore, how to fix it. and then when louis realises that he hurts harry, a person who makes him whole, the scene when he tries to explain everything to harry is really heartbreaking, it's like, the universe is fed up with his mistakes and gives him a try to make it better for the both of them, because if louis is a day then harry is his sunshine and if harry's a night louis is his moon, when they fight everything just goes wrong, sigh. i'm just so happy that in the end louis has a courage to fix everything by himself, harry deserves that, really
thank you so much for this awesomeness, author <3
