I've been going to some singing practices with Breve; Em lined this up. Gig is this Saturday. It's at Kentish Town, and whenever I've gone there in the past it's been to see other people perform. It is 'Messe Solenelle' by Rossini, who I think was obese. I am a bad sight-singer (or, I can sight-sing notes but not notes and rhythm at the same time, and I definitely can't do both and watch the conductor) so rote learning will be the way forward. It's very pretty (unlike the Belshazzer's Feast that Em and I sang earlier this year - urgh) so this shouldn't be hard. Singing is good! I miss choirs. Altos rule, sops drool. And I haven't been to a gig in ages, so just as well.
