[Voice / Convoy filter] Backdated to shortly after Lorena's column
Are these kinds of things really problems, the most recent letters to that Lorena woman? It's . . . kind of sad to me. I know that I don't know her, really, or anything like that, but . . . she seems like such a rigid and intolerant person. Why would people seek advice from such a person? And, really, don't they have family or friends they can go to, people who know them and their situation better?
I kind of had to laugh, though, at part of the last letter. Lorena went on about not asking about her age, so I have to wonder if . . . huh, they didn't sign their letter. The ones claiming to be outlaws. Their comment about, "And since you don't have very much time left" . . . sounds like kind of a backhanded compliment, you know? I shouldn't have laughed, I know, but . . . kinda seems to me like maybe she had it coming? Anyone else think so?
