today, peter and i went up to mccollum airport. i rented an airplane (C-172) and took him flying around northern atlanta where the airspace is a little less congested. we had a blast. after a full morning at the airport and lunch we headed back down to atlanta to roller blade in the park. we met up with ryan, ron and vinny and hung out for a bit. after a quick bite at moes, we drove around to look at some houses on the market. we saw a few that could be potentials. after what seemed like quite a full day, we ended up at cafe intermezzo for a relaxing drink and cake. i dropped him off at his place around 10-30 so that tonight we can have some down time. i hadn't been home since yesterday afternoon. i came home to find that the kitties had pulled down an easter basket with candy and stuff off the coffee table and had strewn it all across the living room. silly cats!!
we're soooooooo excited!!!! we leave on friday for our cruise.
to recap the week: last sunday, we went to see connie and carla (i think that was the name of it) with tyler. monday, we just worked out after work. tuesday we worked out again. wednesday we rollerbladed and then picked up vinny's birthday present. we worked out and headed over to ryans for vinny's birthday party. we were gonna go out to compound, but we both had early thursday stuff to do for work so we decided just to go home and have some snuggle time. we got to bed early and thursday i had depositions on my big case all day. thursday night we had a very lovely dinner at nava. sarah sat us in a completly different section whcih was awesome. dinner was wonderful. peter is a great conversationalist and we have ust the best time together. when we left sarah and john gave us some deserts to go and a nice bottle of buttery chardonay wine!!
friday i left my office around 2-ish and we went shopping for cruise apparel and stuff. peter had been looking for some stuff for the cruise, so we ended up going over to perimeter mall. i found a perfect pair of shorts for $14. peter found some nice jeans and a pair of shoes from aldo. we rollerbladed in the park on friday, too and then worked out at LA.
friday night found us out with the gang at red chair for a while. we did go over to jungle for a bit, but since i knew we would be flying today we didn't stay too long. since peter had his facial friday while i was at work, i got up early and had mine before we went over to the airport. (we did stop by lenox to pick up peter's kewl diesel shoes before heading out to the airport).
