Writing "you are participating in the ideology (of slave masters) that women of color are more sexually apppealing (and thus better in bed) than white women" is probably the best example Chris could have made in his paragraph about reading false dark, ulterior motives behind innocent behavior.

Human attraction can exist independently of wanting to take advantage of, belittle, or treat as an object some other person (sorry for the messy parallel structure).

Chris you are a very nice person for trying to be humble and say stuff like "I suck" since we all know that 1) you don't and 2) this post is nothing but timely, honest, and perceptive.

Thankyee much for the accolades, but I fear I must make a confession which will bring context to this post. In writing my response, I was pissed off. I mean, ragingly pissed. I misread what was written in the deleted post, and took it as a personal attack when it was anything but. I should probably delete my response comment as well, but it serves as an important addendum to my "exponentially hotter" comment - which can also be easily misinterpreted. I'm also not a very big fan of depublishing, even on something as simple as this little blog ( ... )
