Looks like it's time for another update on the college front!
I went back up to Seattle yesterday to take my math placement test (I got a 56. ;_;) get my picture taken for my photo ID (I look almost exactly like my mother! This is cool, because she's a damn handsome lady.) and finish registration. I am now officially a student at The Art Institute! Yay!
I also received my tentative class schedule -- I really hope they stick with this one, because having both my classes on Monday would be soooooo convenient. So convenient you guys.
The job and apartment search continues, unsuccessfully so far but it's only been a couple of weeks. If we get to September 15 and I still haven't found a job THEN I'll start panicking. I'm fairly confident it won't get to that point, though; the admissions counselor introduced me to a woman in the financial department who's going to help fine tune my resume and look for work. So really when you look at all the factors at play here, everything's sailing pretty smoothly thus far. Now if only I could convince my stomach of that. XD; Maybe I'd be able to sleep more easily at night.
