(no subject)
Since I've had a couple people ask, no I am staying silent because I'm sick, homeless, or whatever other disaster your paranoid minds might have cared to conjure. XD I'm just not going through a very bloggable phase in my life right now. My financial situation is more or less stable (or at least it will be until my coworkers start coming back from maternity leave) but I'm still not making enough to do anything especially interesting. I even had to quit ballet because I couldn't afford to weekly trips up to Seattle. :( I've been looking for a second part-time or a full-time job, but so far with no success. What parts of my brain haven't been concerned themselves with money have been burying themselves, ostrich-like, into fandom. Mostly porn. This is how I know I'm an adult. XD
All hasn't been completely grey and dreary, though. I picked up the first volume of the Scott Pilgrim comic a few weeks ago, and was surprised to find it a fun, if shallow read. Definitely brain candy; I was expecting some kind of, I don't know, cerebral indie extravaganza or something from all the hype. Will definitely be picking up volume two next month, though.
I've always started teaching myself how to crochet, and I've begun writing an adventure on the MSPA forum, which in this context basically means I'm writing an interactive fanfic. Hopefully I'll also soon start poking at projects I was forced to put on the backburner last fall. I've missed working on Mirror Ocean in particular, but there's a couple other things I'd like to start working on again. And...I guess that's about it. ^^
