In an act of unmatched bravery, Mr. fliewatuet freed our dishwasher (btw, the first joint household article purchased) from its confinement beneath the table top, surfed the internet for some time, identified the source of the dishwasher going on strike to be a cold joint, found said cold joint, fixed it and the dishwasher is working again! Mr. fliewatuet even managed to put away the soldering iron after this heroic act.

Good thing that I did not wash the ever growing pile of dirty dishes by hand but waited until Mr. fliewatuet was back.
