So now we are proud owners of two new sofas. Furthermore, we treated ourselves to a video projector. Now we can watch super-sized movies at home, each of us comfortably lounging around on their own sofa. So the sofas finally showed up at your place, didn't they? That's nice.

I'll try to read the revised version of "Doomed To Live" as soon as I can, but there's only 24 hours in a day...

Yes, the sofas did show up. They even showed up at the day they were supposed to show up. Only that the jerks at the furniture shop didn't deem it necessary to call me that they would show up. So I was quite surprised when the delivery guys appeared at my door. It was sheer luck that I was home at all, I had returned from only 20 minutes earlier.

You don't need to hurry with 'Doomed To Live'. Since I am revising the Boromir/Legolas/Gimli storyline at the moment, I only updated their chapters. I don't know whether it does make sense to read them out of context (though the altered beginning is already posted at HASA). Now if I only could get that 'Aragorn's first journey to Moria' Nuzgûl off my ankle *shakes foot violently*

I hate it when that happens. As if it's not difficult enough to make sure you're at home to accept a delivery when they announce it. But at least you lucked out, and have your new sofas to enjoy. That makes everything better.

Me too. Most people seem to take it for granted that someone is home all day or can be at home on short notice. Had I not had another appointment on that day (and been more than keen for an excuse to take the day off ;-P) I would have gone to work. And then it would have taken me close to two hours to get home ... gah.

But yes, the sofas are nice. And my significant other isn't at home tonight *eyes LotR EE DVD longingly*

Hee, go for it! What better way to spend an evening without your SO but lust after and fawn over Boromir, and get all re-inspired again to defy both Tolkien and PJ!

Ok, I am convinced. Now I only have to figure out how to get our home cinema equipment started ;-P Somehow, my SO cannot simply plug in a normal DVD player ...
