Well, I woke up today with that dreading feeling that the day's going to be one of those days when you're bored out of your mind and pretty much wallowing in your lonesome misery wondering why nobody likes you. Obscenely emo, I know. Which is why I'm glad to say that it turned out to be a pretty fucking awesome day. Gi came over and we played Spit for who knows how long, acting like the giddy idiots we acted like in 6th and 8th grade, which I really missed. Steve came over a couple hours later and watched our hyped up game of Spit, one of which lasted for more than an hour. Then we made s'mores, because we have graham crackers, marshmallows, a Seven Eleven is down the block, and because I got the idea yesterday with Nikki and figures that Steve and Gi should not be deprived of the chocolatey, marshmallowy, graham cracker-y goodness that is s'mores.
What we learned today:
-the Bullshit cosmic powers that be totally love Gi
-Steve could never hack it as a spy, considering he's a shit-all human lie detector
-getting high scores on the Megatouch games leave you with serious feelings of accomplishment
-Dad claims he put a lock on the tap...He lied. (Note for future references)
-Gi's mom totally lied about letting me burn that hideous 80s shell... contraption...thing that doesn't have the right to be called a painting, though I'm wondering where I would have set said contraption on fire.
-Do NOT lick a fork after roasting a marshmallow on it.
I am thoroughly appreciative of this day of silliness.
I got into Peer Ministry, despite my non-Churchy-ness, now all I have to do is get a good report card (kinda sorta doubtful), learn how to parallel park (I'm on my way), pass my road test (who knows), and get a job.
