Flick hadn't seen Isabelle since she wasn't herself. She'd left and he hadn't heard from her the rest of the weekend. When Monday came, he'd waited for as long as he could before going back to Idris so he didn't risk his place in the Academy. He'd let Joi know what was going on so she could check in with Isabelle and even gotten a message to her brothers at the Institute just to have a back up plan.
Catarina had given him a look when he'd made to leave again but he'd ignored her. He couldn't just sit in Idris while he didn't know what had happened with Isabelle. So, he'd caught himself a portal and was coming up the steps to the apartment.
He didn't know, didn't try and be cute this time. Instead, he opened the door with his key and said, "Izzy? You here?"
He hoped she was here.
