The agenda, to recap:

- Show Notes for RBR005
- My half of notes for RBR006
- ESP
Notes for tomorrow's recording are half-done.
Not a whole lot to say about the events of last night, but apparently there has been a lot going on over the last few years that I didn't know about. Not that it was any of my business, mind you. My brother's life is his own. Sis and I have known about several aspects of the sister-in-law's personality for quite some time, but it was revealed to me last night just how deeply disturbed my brother's wife really is. I think that's all I feel comfortable saying in a public venue. I may write a private entry on this topic later, for my own eyes down the road.
My sister is not a happy camper right now. In fact, no one in my family is.
On a bright note, though, it seems that my oldest niece (once called Pookie) is officially in college. I tried not to do the old person's "I remember when" thing when it dawned on me a few months ago that she's 18 now... but I couldn't help it. I do remember when she was but a wee infant one. I have pictures of her, my mother and sister holding her, my brother holding her... even of me holding her. (I was even dorkier back then than I am now... and that's saying something.)
The cliche is true: They grow up so fast.
Sims 2 Challenges was fun, as it always is. I played in the aftershow via the netbook. I had to plug in an external mic, because the integrated one just wasn't doing the trick. Good to know for future reference. Pinged munchkin on Skype to try to prod her into doing her half of the notes for Red Brick Road. She said she would if I came onto City of Heroes to invite her new Tanker character into the super group.
So after Rachel signed off for the night, I did just that. Just to see if munchkin would follow through. She did! This leads to a sad realization: The one who's always so slack in doing her notes finished hers before I finished mine. Ah, well. My half will be finished tonight.
Tomorrow is a State holiday, which means a skeleton crew at work. I have once again managed not to be part of the skeleton. Munchkin may or may not come over early. I plan to write my ESP either tonight or early tomorrow, and then I must begin some research for Saturday's podcast. We're talking about character archetypes.
Speaking of work, the end of the fiscal year has been kicking my butt. It usually does, though. I have more than 30 closeouts ready for my part of the process, and there are more coming soon. (The closeouts are actually due Sunday.) Plus there is administrative stuff that needs to be done around the office... filing, archiving, and the like. It's been crazy.
So with lunch on the verge of over, I must return to the madness. If I think about it tomorrow, I will be sure to do an entry from home. If I don't think about it, well... you know.
Either way, I will talk to you soon, Dear Journal.
