Funny how one can mean the things one says at the time one says them, but as soon as it's convenient, one does something to make oneself a liar.
For the record, I'm not a liar; I really did mean it at the time.
Specifically, Thursday's entry. To quote:
There's still a slim chance [the podiobook project] may yet happen, but not until the other two 'casts are completely caught up. Maybe in 2013, if the world doesn't end first.
This weekend, I managed to record the first chapter of said podiobook project. It took a grand total of eight and a half minutes. Editing will take slightly longer. I don't know if I will need / want any retakes.
Thursday's statement was true; I had intended to blast forward on flick-a-brac and Spoiler Alert, but when the time came and I looked at my chart, the fact that no eps of Reading the Classics had been recorded just seemed to light up like a beacon of failure.
So I did one.
In the long run, I don't know if this means anything significant. It may just have been my way of procrastinating on what I've come to think of as "the important stuff" -- after all, you know me and my propensity for procrastination. Or maybe I'm finally ceasing procrastination on a project I've been wanting to begin for two years.
Unknown at this time.
I'm going to cut this entry a little short today. Much to be done in the office world, and I have a bit of a headache I would like to remove so that work can get done.
I'll see you next time, Dear Journal.
