Do they have a school for reindeer where you come from, then? [Plonking self down cross-legged to watch. She's familiar with sword-sharpening, but maybe scary people who wield three at once have an ultra special way of doing it :|a]
No. He was taught on his own by an old witch-[wait she might take that literally]-of a woman.
[And through the veil of universes, Zoro can feel Kureha kicking him in the head. :|a
Anyway, this here is basically just a touching up after more than a week in the Malnosso's tender care, unable to give his swords the attention they deserve-or any at all. They haven't had any use, so he hasn't gone the full route of disassembly and water stones. He does have a little wooden kit with a powder ball, sword oil, rice paper, etc., set next to him for later.
As it is he just polishes the flat of the blade with steady hands. Unexciting |D]
[Very. D| God, Zoro, couldn't you make a show of it? Katie shifts a little, and then frowns as the sword-polishing fails to be unusual in every way. But she does nod to that statement.]
Oh, yes. I practice for hours every day. I'm sure I'll be able to beat up bears and ninjas, soon. [Which is of course not true, but. She still practices regularly >_> Oh, but here's a question.]
[agrees] They don't. But there's plenty of strong people around here who do. And... [A fleeting look of demonic satisfaction] ...the Battle Room thing's not bad.
[A measured blink. Not answering her doesn't cross his mind.]
Some kind of room that changes itself into different places full of different things to fight. It's for training.
[Whether the things conjured in it are illusions, or real things that just vanish later, he doesn't know. Or, come to think of it, particularly care. What he does know is it's damn realistic and damn good practice.
And clearly of no interest to small children, yes? 8)]
I got the notif for this two hours later :|aflicker_flashJanuary 17 2011, 13:39:12 UTC
[...yes. 8D]
Oh. Is that all. [Sounding faintly distracted now.] Oh well, you look much less red and really that's what I came to see so I'll be off home now. Straight home. Goodbye.

Witches are very good at teaching. Women, too.

...Aa. They can be.
[A moment, then a segue completely unrelated to the previous topic. Yes. Not at all related. Coughcough]
You keeping up with your swordwork, chibi?

What's a chibi?

[blink] Ah. ['Shorty'. An aborted grin.] It means someone who's small.

Do you challenge yourself? I wouldn't think the rocks and trees put up much of a fight.

[These things escape the notice of a small child who likes climbing trees.]
