[Vash's nerf war helped. But in the wake of fiery trees, flesh-eating butterflies, and dead, grey landscapes, Katie's feeling a little... empty. And being the selfish child she is, that means taking it out on the town.
...and she means that in the nicest way possible.
Sunrise in Luceti will find that the plaza and many other places through town - including rooftops, including the occasional wall - have been decorated. With chalk. Drawings of hopscotch grids, to be more precise; the children's game, but the artist appears to have gone all out, elaborately decorating each grid with anything from simple swirling patterns to the more elaborate - within reason, as the artist is skilled but she is a nine year old girl. Various villagers may find some of the artwork eerily familiar, however-- if Katie has met you, and any of your dream echoes are of the not-traumatising variety (that she can tell), you can expect to find them decorating the sidewalk in the town of Luceti - and probably not too far from where you live, if she knows.
The little vandal is still going, mind; you can track her down as she continues to draw, or sneak up on her in the middle of the night while she's being furtive if you really want to be mean. Or you can gawk at your echoes - or art of any kind - and react accordingly.

Either way, by noon Katie will be finished and stopping by Seventh Heaven for icecream before she heads home. House #32 is untouched, but there may possibly be the outline of a grand chalk castle all about the house. Fitting for an empress, you know.]
