Felicity Huffman seems far too nice to roast - but roast her they did Monday night at the Rainbow Room, while raising $350,000 for her Atlantic Theater Company in Chelsea.
"By the end of the night I'll be on a fire escape, smoking and crying 'Everyone hates me!'" the Oscar nominee and "Desperate Housewives" star told Lowdown before her husband, William H. Macy, helped turn her on the spit, with Steve Martin among the celebs in the audience. "I actually am nervous. I was so out-of-body, I walked out of the hotel tonight and the gentleman said, 'Good evening' and I said, 'Good morning!' "
Actress Sarah Paulson dished about Huffman: "You can't say anything about sex in front of Felicity. She turns into like a weird 4-year-old. She'll turn bright red. We were watching the 'Dolores/Clitoris' episode of 'Seinfeld' together. ... She was like, 'AHHH! I don't want to talk about it.' She's a freak about the sex."
Paulson's girlfriend, Tony-winner Cherry Jones, currently on Broadway with Ralph Fiennes in "Faith Healer," said Huffman "is able to parlay this newfound celebrity that she has to help everybody she's ever known. She's just so giving that way."
LMAO - how could anyone roast the sweet thing known as Flicka? I understand roasting Pamela Anderson (no offense but they did roast her - damn that was a good/funny thing) but any roasting of any housewife is WEIRD.
