Today I went to the movies and saw Confessions of a Shopaholic with my mom. It was an okay movie. It was definitely different from the book like most movies based on books are. Seeing all the fashion was fun. It's kind of like Sex And The City in terms of the clothes. I always pictured the main character Rebecca as a brunette and her best friend Suze as a blond except Isla Fisher who played Rebecca is a redhead and Krysten Ritter who played Suze has black hair. That was a little weird. The actor who played Luke, Rebecca's boyfriend was how I pictured him, except in the book they were a couple from the beginning of the book and in the movie they don't get together until the end. They took out a lot of stuff from the book. Some scenes felt like there was too much slapstick comedy. It was funny in the book but it doesn't translate very well on screen. I guess I'd give it a C+.

After the movie my mom and I went shopping at Sherway which is a bad idea on a saturday afternoon. It was way too crowded. Plus I hate malls in general. I wanted Gene Simmons Family Jewels season 3 on DVD but one store I tried only had a 'best of' DVD and the only store only had season 1 so I'll have to try Wal-Mart and Best Buy. Plus it's Valentines Day so the mall was filled with couples.

Anyway, I hope everyone else is having a good Saturday and have a nice Sunday. (And Monday off if you live in Ontario;)
