Fun night!
So I just got home from the DWTS show. It was so much fun! I have this huge crush on Joey Fatone now:P
Turns out Edyta Sliwinska couldn't make it(Her Partner Joey Lawrence came out and said that) then it turned out that he was going to be dancing with Karina Smirnoff but then right after they walked out together at the beginging, Karina got sick! So I'm kind of bummed I didn't get to see Edyta since I was looking forward to her, but I at least got to see Karina and Derek Hough dance a rumba together at the begining, before Karina got sick I guess.
Derek is a really good dancer too! Him and Sabrina Bryan did some great numbers together. I didn't really like Sabrina when she was on the show but I enjoyed her dancing tonight.There were also these clip montages in between dances, and they had a few Marie Osmond clips in them:D Plus I bought a program which has some nice Marie pictures. I still wish she was one of the performers at the Toronto show.
Before the show started they were handing out these free cardboard '10' paddles(That on the actual show the judges used for scoring)which people were holding up. There was this 'pre-show' thing which was when some people from local dance studios were competing for a trophy. Sabrina and Wayne Newton were hosting the last part of it and after one of the couples danced all these people held up their 10 paddles XD
Wayne:Wow 10's. I got 2 5's one week.(To Sabrina) You know all about getting 10's!(Sabrina was the 1st celeb on the show to get a perfect score of 30)
Wayne sang 3 songs...which were really bad! At the 3rd time after the announcer said "Now welcome back, Wayne Newton," Everyone groaned lol. I wasen't able to find the autograph booth thing that someone on a DWTS fan site told me about...maybe it was just in certain cities.
And Monique Coleman with Louis Van Amstel was pretty good. Overall, I had a great time!
