(no subject)
My mom and I went to a flea market today and I found lots of jewlery for my Madonna costume. Plus, we also went to my grandmothers house and she had some necklaces/chains that I'm going to use. I have the Madonna costume pretty much covered, I just need some leggings/fishnets which shouldn't be hard to find. I can't find anything for my Sailor Moon costume but I'll keep looking and if I don't find anything, I'll come with something else. Hey, last year I didn't come with any costumes since I didn't know it was such a big deal. Luckily, some counselors/T.A's managed to help me put something together quickly.
I also didn't know the color teams were such a big deal so I didn't have any blue stuff (I was on the blue team XD) except for 2 shirts. But again, we all borrowed stuff from each other. Shopping for color team stuff shouldn't be difficult though. I think my mom is getting annoyed with all this shopping though DX. We really should be allowed to learn our color teams ahead of time so it's easier to shop for. Vinh even told us they made the teams around the end of the school year but w/e. I really hope we find out on Tuesday since my mom's going to Cloverdale that day anyway.
I had heard all the bootleg movie places had been shut down but at this flea market we were at today (it was one we had never been to before) they had 3 places. We bought some movies and I also bought season 5 of Desperate Housewives for $10. I know it's terrible and I do feel kinda guilty but it's the actual DVD's with menus, special features, all the episodes etc. The only difference is that it doesn't have the nice packaging and it's on blank discs and has no episode guide. I do want the real thing (Since I'm all obsessive and need the actual thing since I have the first 4 sets) but this will do until Christmas or for the next couple of months until the price goes down.
