Things have been good. I kinda took an extended break from classes/studying over the past few weeks. Just half-assing everything and whatnot. I decided to turn things around this week, and get back on top of everything.
Midterms (from a few weeks back)
EC302 - Intermediate Macro - only got a 70%, but with the assignments I am currently just one point away (on a graded curve) from a 4.0
GEO432 - Environmental Ethics - 97% (essay exam)
EEP255 - Ecological Economics - will find out on Wednesday
SSC490 - Strategies for Reducing Global Poverty - 87% on the multiple choice, no word yet on the essay portion
I have another EC exam coming up next week, so I'm stressing to do well so I can hopefully have a 4.0 going into the final exam.
This week I'm not scheduled to work until Friday, which gives me plenty of time to catch up on school work, and get advising/etc appointments out of the way. I just met with my main adviser. I'M GRADUATING IN MAY!!! I've got 16 credits I need for graduation, and might as well get them all done at once. I might take an additional 6 credits (business) this summer, but I'm going to talk to a career adviser first (next week) to see what she recommends.
The thought of graduating is a bit unnerving. But then I remember how stressed out with classes/homework/work/social life is when I'm taking classes. I'm sick of the college life, the college town, everything college-related I want to be done with. Christmas break I'm spending researching career opportunities, polishing up my resume, and prepping for career fairs/potential interviews.
Grad school is still an option, but not right away. I want to pay off some loans first, and make sure that I'm not getting too much education without having good work experience.
Then there's next semester:
EC460 - American Industry: Structure & Behavior
EEP320 - Environmental Economics
ESA460 - Natural Resource Economics
EEP405 - Corporate Environmental Management
REL350 - Buddhism in South Asia
and a 2 credit class on how to find a job. just as an elective to get my total credits at 120.
Now it's just a matter of finishing up all the things I've put off these last few weeks.
