Good things come to those that wait....or those that stress and freak out after four weeks of not finding work....
I got the job at UNT!. Ironically enough the building that I'll be working in is literally a stone's throw away from the Music Building where Bo will be. The pay is decent, and they will cover 50% of my school costs, when I start at NCTC. So between that, and saving on gas/car insurance...I think I made out pretty good. I am most certainly breathing easier since being hired. I nearly hugged the woman who interviewed me...
Right now I'm filling in at an office in Frisco, which took me an hour to get to..... still getting used to the roads having more than one name down here. I get to sit here at this office which is in a neighborhood with about 600 new houses and watch the phone to see if it rings. Exciting. Tomorrow will be about the same....hey it's easy money and we definitely need it.
Today was a lot better than I was expecting....after not being able to nail down a job, consistently for about a month you begin to lose a little confidence in yourself. It was funny, I had about five different companies call me back to schedule an interview. Go figure.
