Thank you all very much I'ts most appreciated. As a quick update my sister filed for divorce a few days ago. And since she hid her bipolar from the adoption agent (you can't adopt if your bipolar) chances are they are going to lose the kids. There is aparently a zero tolerance policy in cases like this even if one parent was completely in the dark. It's just a big mess and I very much appreciate all the good thoughts and kind words.
