Hey, well Dan and I are having an engagement party on the 8th of April at the Celtic in Maesteg. Basically everyone's invited. If you don't know how to get there then you'll have to ask Dan or Nina for directions because I'm hopeless! Please let us know if you're coming so we can tell the Celtic how many people to expect, and so we know how much food to prepare!
At the moment I'm online looking for what kind of cake we want. Because we plan on getting married next year we have to sort everything out as soon as possible. Luckily we already have someone to play the organ for us - Gareth :-) and we know where we wanna get married etc. Just all the dresses, flowers, food, cake, tux, etc now. The engagement ring is lush, I can't stop looking at it. Oh, that's something we forgot to put on the list - wedding rings, lol, it would help if we had them!
Because I'm getting married I still need to find a job. Hopefully I'll get quite a good paid one so that I can save up quite a bit for the wedding. Luckily, because of "contacts" through the Church, a lot of the stuff is going to be quite cheap or even free! A friend's mother is going to make my dress, so all I have to pay for is the material. How cool is that?! the Church is free cause Dan's a member. A couple in the church are going to do the photography for free, plus video taping the whole thing!
Anyway, just wanted to let anyone whose number I don't have know that there's gonna be a party. LEt us know if you're coming. If you have a boyfriend or girlfriend then bring them too. the more the merrier :-)
