Major moan!
So I'm finally in Uni . . . and I'm strating to wish that I hadn't got the grades! So far I hate it here! As soon as I opened the door to my 'Delux Room' I was like "Mum, please take me home with you" but nope, I have to stay. Now all my stuff is in here it looks a little better, but still not nice. The door to the ensuite makes a really loud banging noise whenever it gets open or closed, so if I need a pee in the night I'm going to wake everyone else up. Then we get into the ensuite . . . the smallest ensuite you have ever seen, even Glamorgan had better! And the shower is tiny so I have no idea how I'm gonna shave my legs in there. Any suggestions? Last night I also noticed that the sink is leaking. Shouldn't they have checked that before I arrived?! There's not enough room to put my toiletries, but that's my fault for having so many! I do like the fact that I don't hvae to share this with anyone though. I tried having a shower last night but there was no hot water coming through, so I figured that maybe they only have it on for a couple of hours in the morning. Nope, in the morning you either get cold water, or freezing cold water! Dunno if it's the whole flat or just me.
I'm sharing a flat with 5 other people, and so far I've seen two and know that three have moved in. That means more are coming today. But yesterday everyone seemed to be keeping themselves locked away in their rooms so there was no-one for me to talk to. It's weird not havin cats and a bird around me all the time.
Anyway, I'm missing all my friends loads. Gareth sent me a video of his room which I downloaded this last night. That's really made my week.
Gotta start the course tomorrow, hopefully I'll get on with some of the people on my course and in my lectures. Incase you think that sounds weird, there will be some people in some of my lectures who are doing a different course but they're interlinking.
Gotta go have breakfast now. It's ten past eight already. Parents are coming back today, luckily, and then I'm on my own :-( Bet everyone else is having loads of fun, partly because they know loads of people who are stayin with or near them.
