it's taking forever!

I finally finished the back-stitched french seams on my new mid-18th century chemise. Sheesh. That took foreeeeeever. It didn't help that the side gores are each two pieces. First time I've actually looked forward to doing the hem. I'm saving the neckline for after I make the jacket (mantelet in Quebecois). I also finished the teeny-weeny whip-stitched side seams of the under-petticoat (sous-jupon in Quebecois). So next up are the two hems!
