Me..in the drum line!
OH EM GEE!!!!!
Well, as some people know, I've been doing Trumpet for and camp in Lely for the past week. Well, I love the Percussion section and did Drums my 7th and 8th grade years at NCA, anyhow, now I suck at Trumpet and I really wanted to do Percussion in Lely. So.... Today after Band Camp my mom and I went to talk to Mr. Stein (Band Director) and asked if I could switch onto a lower position in the Percussion, and he said yes!!!!! So starting tomarrow im going to be on the symbols along with Jessica Broun and another guy! Im so excited, it sounds dumb, but like my sopomore year and more years, I can move up and maybe later, later be on the snare or something! IM SO EXCITED, kind of nervous too but hey it's worth it, well at least now I don't have to look like a moron when we play our songs at band camp.
Im also happy and sad at the same time though, I can't wait untill our next show, im missing acting in Joseph, but the more close it gets the more closer were getting to it being over :(
Well, im gonna go do other stuff, later.
