At least they added the conversation at the beginning. I didn't remember it being in the manga? But it's all GP ;__;

The anime goes out of its way to please the fangirls, yeah :D I'm so not complaining. I want more, even.

No the conversation at the beginning wasn't in the manga. The GP part wasn't that long either, it was just as long as the PP part... roughly 10 pages. The Silver Pair part was shorty too. I think the next episode will be entirely on Sanada/Yukimura, their match lasted two chapters in the manga.

The tennis matches have been getting shorter and shorter. During the nationals Echizen's match lasted one volume. But GP has a lot of spotlight here; I guess it's for the new viewers.

I really wanted more PlatiPair time ;___;. Their conversation in the manga ~ Yagyuu was a lot more awesome and Niou way more pissed off in the manga. /sobs

But it was still a good scene because Yagyuu looked awesome >_>;

SP is kinda short, yeah. They shortened SP for more GP; I'd actually prefer more SP since we get GP plenty, but overall I'm pretty satisfied.
