Much to the dismay of Mrs.Weasley, they became engaged after she took a job at Gringotts to "improve her English." They were married the day the Ministry fell to Death Eaters.

She hated her job, and was quite close to moving back to Paris when she caught the eye of one Bill Weasley. After dating a year, he proposed.
After their wedding and the demise of Voldemort, Fleur realized she did not want to continue a career in the finance world. Since she had always been interested in fashion, she started designing dress robes in the kitchen of Shell Cottage. She then showed those designs to Madam Malkin, who was so taken with her creativity that she commissioned an entire line for the fall season.
With the success from her first creative endeavor, Fleur opened up a shop in Diagon Alley with her best friend, Marie-Christine, as her only employ. That was eight years ago. Since then, Delacour has become an internationally recognized haute couture line and has stores all over the world, plus a runway show in Paris each fall in spring.
